Dear Friends
It has been a little while since I have communicated with you via the
E-zine. The reason is, we have been very busy with some exciting new changes
that we now want to share with you. Read on and you'll find information
about our new FREE teleclasses, blog, and weekly Tips for Making Life
Easier. In addition, I have written two new books and would like to tell you
about them.
E-Zine Redesign
With all the electronic information that comes our way these days, whatever
we can do to cut the clutter and simplify our lives is important, especially
in our fast-paced electronic world. We have redesigned our electronic
newsletter to be easier to view and quicker to read. Articles will be
shorter with links to additional information if you want to know more.
NEW! FREE Teleclasses
Last year I was asked to do a few teleclassesinstructional topics presented
over the telephonefor the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The classes
worked out so well that I have decided to offer more classes on topics of
interest to people living with chronic illness, their family, friends, care
partners, and health-care professionals.
These one-hour classes, including a question and answer session, provide an
opportunity for us to be in touch no matter where you live. And, the best
part is we can all participate without having to leave the comforts of our
own homes!
Starting in April, I will be conducting a series of FREE Making Life Easier
teleclasses on the following topics:
Care PartnersWorking in harmony (both for those giving care and those receiving it)
Was I Coming or Going? How to remember almost anything (Memory/Cognition)
Winging ItFlying high and enjoying it (Traveling with disabilities)
Bouncing BackWhen life knocks you down (Dealing with depression)
Too Pooped to ParticipateStrategies for finding more energy (Overcoming fatigue)

NEW! Blog
A blog is an electronic diary that allows the reader to respond to what is
written-much as personal letters between friends. Just before Thanksgiving
2005, I posted my first blog entry. Over the weeks of posting the good, the
bad, and sometimes the ugly of living and coping with chronic illness, I
have heard from many who have faced similar issues. The outpouring of
compassion and appreciation for putting into words what they themselves may
have been unable to express has been phenomenal. I hope you will take a
moment to visit my blog and
then bookmark the page so you can return week after week and share your
thoughts, challenges, and accomplishments with me. I look forward to your
comments.
NEW! Tip of the Week
Many of you have said you want more tips, more often, so beginning in April,
E-zine subscribers will soon be able to sign up for a weekly Tip for Making
Life Easier. Once a week, you will receive an inspirational little tidbit
especially helpful to those with chronic illness, aging related limitations,
or disabilities and for those who live, work, or help you. Everyone will
find these tips beneficial-after all, in these stressful times, who doesn't
need Tips for Making Life Easier?!
Please tell your friends: If you find this E-zine helpful, send them this
link so they begin receiving the Meeting Life's Challenges E-zine - just click

So that's it for today. We hope that you are interested in the changes at
Meeting Life's Challenges and encourage you to let us know how we can better
help you!
